Hi,
i have a problem when I get photo from my gamebay camera using a xchanger+gbxtool, btg16 or whatever:
here is the result whith madcatz:
perfect!
and this is what i have with xchanger:
(a totoro plush)
there are some strange pixels
and for some photo I have vertical black pixel line
I use Bung xchanger + 16M + gbxtool (last version) or gbt16 (DOS) and dump the gbcam sram and extract it with GBCameraDump
Anyone already had this problem?
I know that there is a webpage that help to solve this problem but i don't remember how i found it
Thanks

I have the same problem, that's why I found myself forced to buy a disgusting digital camera...
Well, if I'm not dreaming I gues I readed somewhere that's due to some battery settings stored in ... ???? !"·$!"%$ ???? (????)
I'm not so into electronic and programming
Please somebody help us! my GB photos are all laying in JAIL!
should we try some other tool or do some kind of debug in dos??? (I just can't remember... didn't found the site again

software i know of:
http://a-blast.org/~drx/lo-tech/gameboy … ex.en.html
drx also explains how to make your compuer act as a gb printer, if none of the cart-dumping options work! but in your case odEa, why not just use the madcatz cable???
i encountered this problem before (in 2001) ... with a friend's gbcam i was unable to ever get a clean set of pictures off of it, they always had lines in them. with my own gbcam, i got the lines once, but they disapeared after i cleaned the contacts in my gbcam and the GB TRANSFERER i'm using.
the LSDj also recently had a thread about faulty dumping from gbcams but no quick and easy solution was found. i haven't heard of the battery saving any information about how to .sav pictures.
in any technical problem the thing to do is go through your variables swapping them out, trying to eliminate them as the problem. from top to bottom, i see potential problems:
- gb cam (have you tried another one? cleaning?)
- transfering hardware (sounds like you have your bases covered there, try cleaning?)
- parellel port settings (again, you've done what you can, what a bitch to run through all settings for each hardware transferer)
- software for extracting image from the .sav
hope to see some new snaps soon on the gameboycamera livejournal group cute totoro plush!

I thought the real problem was the dog looking like a totoro cuz of camera failure

ok, I'll try to get that info again, try different softwares, clean contacts, etc
I don't want to look like pikachu in my pictures
or maybe a depressive tamgotchi...
