New Here

Hello, I was interested in getting into the "chiptune" community, and all I have found so far was this forum. And it looks like this forum is pretty "dead"... I was wondering about this. Considering there is so many chiptune artists out there, this is really wierd I thought. Does anybody have a reason for this? Is there a bigger, badder forum somewhere that all the artists frequent?

I mean, It looks like you have quite a few "big players" here. Bit Shifter, and Nullsleep. This forum should be thriving!

Re: New Here

hehe
as you said the forum is dying... I think I will soon delete it sad
there were already a chiptune forum...and it died too...
also a 8bitblog, that died hmm
I think communities projects dies because there already exists good ones:
http://micromusic.net
and for the news, you can find all at http://www.vorc.org...
and thats a good thing i think: it is the proof that they works very well.
I am curious to see what other ppl think about that.
The most important fact about this forum, is that it is my fault. I didn't have time to post regulary. And i think a forum can't survive if it don't have posts everydays.

Maybe chiptune.fr could evolve in something different...but i don't have idea yet...maybe it should be good to first think about what is missing in the chiptune community.

Thanks for registering anyway wink
